Overview

The DOT Administrator is responsible for ensuring company-wide compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. This role manages Driver Qualification (DQ) files, oversees compliance documentation, and communicates DOT requirements and company policies to ensure operational excellence and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and complete Driver Qualification files, ensuring all required documentation is entered at the time of hire.
  • Track license and certification expirations; coordinate and request timely renewals.
  • Monitor and manage compliance-related documents, including Lease Agreements and Inspection Sheets.
  • Support the development and communication of DOT compliance rules across the company.
  • Perform additional compliance and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, automotive, or a related industry preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Analytical and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

 

 

Pay- $    25.00   - $ 35.00       /Hourly *Depending on Experience
