Overview

Help Desk Technicians provide front-line technical support to our end users on a range of different issues. Key responsibilities will involve new user setup and problem-solving related to hardware, software, and peripherals. Help Desk Technicians’ primary focus is customer service first, and working as a team to ensure users’ needs are met in a friendly, positive, and timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Work and respond to help desk tickets in a timely and courteous manner
  • Provide deskside and remote technical support to end users
  • Comply with SOX requirements by completing appropriate new hire, termination, and change documentation
  • Set up new I.T. equipment
    • Image laptops and desktops using SCCM
    • Set up monitors, docks, and essential desktop hardware
    • Order, set up, and support mobile devices (Primarily Apple)
  • Set up user accounts and email (Active Directory and O365)
  • Track and update company IT assets
  • Perform other related duties as required

  • None

 

Key Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science (or similar) with 1 year of related experience and/or training
  • Must be able to communicate with end users effectively and efficiently through multiple communication platforms (email, chat, phone, text, tickets, etc.)
  • Must be adaptable to changing work conditions and priorities
  • Even though we work closely as a team, there are times when you must be able to work autonomously to complete tasks with little supervision
  • Solid understanding of the Windows Operating System
  • Experience in troubleshooting various technology issues
  • Experience in troubleshooting and deploying mobile technology
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with vendors to provide additional support
  • Experience using remote support tools
  • Good understanding of Microsoft productivity tools (Microsoft Office)
  • Preferred A+ or similar certification
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs
  • Experience working in construction is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed
    • Ability to maintain a valid drivers license

Physical Requirements

  • Some lifting (up to 30 lbs.).
  • Long hours on the computer and keyboard
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
  • Work to be conducted primarily in an office; however,IT some work may be completed at project or jobsite trailers sites

 

 

 

 

 

Pay- $ 69,000      - $ 75,000       /Annually *Depending on Experience
